Infusion Clinic

The Outpatient Infusion Clinic at Sierra Providence East Medical Center is a six chair infusion center that provides a variety of outpatient infusion services to include:
- IV hydration
- Electrolyte replacement
- Antibiotic therapy
- Chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions
- Injections
- Venous access device maintenance
- Phlebotomy and patient teaching.
The Clinic is dedicated to the care of the adult population, who require specialized care following a hospital admission or during a prolonged chronic illness. The following conditions for which patients may be require services in the Outpatient Infusion Clinic include but are not limited to:
- Anemia
- Autoimmune Disorders
- Cancer
- Infection
- Osteoporosis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
Professional & Caring Staff
The Infusion Clinic delivers care utilizing registered nurses who are chemotherapy certified by the Oncology Nursing Society. Recognized standard of practice guidelines used are The Joint Commission and nursing standards supported by the Oncology Nursing Society and Evidenced Based Practice.
